Hey folks!

As many of you know, I’m currently running an Indiegogo campaign (very similar to Kickstarter) to raise money for the creation of second episode of The Super-Gay Adventures of Ross Boston, my webcomic.  The end goal is $5,000, and with about 10 days left, I am still short $2,731, so I’m not even quite halfway there yet!  That’s where you guys come in to help.

There are quite a few perks available for donating various amounts to the campaign, and one of the higher-up perks is this 11x17”, campaign-exclusive print.  Ordinarily, you’d have to donate at least $130 or more to get it (with a host of other really awesome stuff included), but by reblogging this post, you’ll be entered in a random drawing to win the print!  The rules:

     -One winner will be chosen at random.

     -I will ship internationally, so it doesn’t matter where you live.

     -You may reblog as many times as you like, thus increasing your chances of winning.

     -You MUST leave this text - with all links - intact and allow others the chance to reblog this post, too.  Otherwise, it kinda defeats the purpose.

     -You need to have your ask box open so I can get in touch with you in case you win.  (Alternately, if you have your email or a link to some other means of contacting you available on your tumblr, that’s fine too.)

     -Likes are great, but only reblogs count as an entry into the contest.

Hey folks!

Last night I threw together the cover for the eventual print edition of The Super-Gay Adventures of Ross Boston:  Episode 1 print edition.  It doesn’t have any logos or text on it yet, but it will at a later date.

Also, have you managed to check out the campaign for SGARB:  Episode 2 on Indiegogo (which is almost exactly like Kickstarter)?  I’m seeking to raise money to produce the second episode of the webcomic faster, better, and with more focus, and there are a TON of awesome perks available for donating at different levels.  Remember, every dollar counts, and so does sharing that link on your facebook, tumblr, or twitter!

The Super-Gay Adventures of Ross Boston turns 50 (pages) this week as we get a glimpse at Nicki’s mysterious past!  Check it out!

Have you had a chance to check out my Indiegogo campaign yet? Hey folks!

Last night I did a Livestream to help promote my Indiegogo campaign (to raise money for the second episode of The Super-Gay Adventures of Ross Boston), and this image was the result.  And surprise!  I’m adding it to the crazy-awesome list of perks available!  This will be an 11x17” print, obtainable by donating $130 (the “It’s An Art Museum!” tier) or more.  Those who have already donated that amount will receive this print in addition to everything else they’ll get!

I forgot to add the lipstick kiss to his face during the Livestream last night, so here it is.  I really like how this one came out and I’ll continue to use this coloring method on other images in the future.  It was fun!

One of the perks for donating a certain amount is this print of the “drag queen superhero,” The Blue Baroness.  What can I say about her that I haven’t already said?  The Blue Baroness - or Blue, as many call her - is a wizard who specializes in the magic of illusions and performs at a drag bar in the city called “Ladytime!”  Her attitude is both aloof and grand, and she sits on the fence in terms of where her allegiance lies:  sometimes she’ll do good deeds, and sometimes she’ll cause chaos for the fun of it.  She has some history with Wizard Wayne, though it is understood that the two of them parted ways on bitter terms.  In the second episode of SGARB, Blue entices Ross to participate in a titillating event in exchange for alleged inside information on the mysterious Freedom Nightmare.

Did you have a good weekend?  My Indiegogo campaign  for the second episode of The Super-Gay Adventures of Ross Boston has been live for over a week and a half now and has about $1,900 donated so far.  That’s awesome, but with 19 days left, there’s still some ground to cover from now until then to make that $5,000 goal.  If you haven’t seen the video and/or read the details on the campaign, please check it out!  Every dollar counts, but so do sharing the link on facebook, twitter, and tumblr (or simply reblogging this post on tumblr, as well).  Thank you!

Many fun rewards are available for donating, including this print of the character most fans refer to as the “elevator cutie,” Oz Henson.  I can’t say much right now about this anime nerd that makes Ross a little nervous for reasons that are probably pretty obvious, but rest assured he’ll become more important as the series goes on.  ;)
