On a very rare occasion, to keep my cartooning skills sharp outside of drawing my own characters over and over again, I like to draw some of my tumblr friends/acquaintances and surprise them with the results. Usually, they are hot, beardy fellows like Cyphermabob. Don’t judge me.
Cyphermabob is basically what I would want Ross Boston to look like in a live action movie, give or take. He’s absolutely adorable and I couldn’t resist drawing him! Remember: free art negates the creepy-factor, right?

In the interest of full disclosure, I drew this at no charge to Ben (Filmbear on tumblr). Last night, after working on commissions and the comic the whole day, I decided to take a break and draw for fun, and since Ben is so unbelievably cute, I simply couldn’t resist! (In hindsight, I wish I had used a smaller brush…but oh well.)
