Hey folks!

Commissions are open again!  Yay!

I’m sort of in crisis mode.  It has come to my attention that I will be moving out of my current apartment - after moving into it about a month and a half ago - in two months.  I don’t really know what I’m going to do, but I could definitely use your support.  In exchange for art, of course!

The details:
Cost:  Busts - that’s shoulders-up - are $40 for a single character, or $35 per character if you purchase multiple characters.  Similarly, Full-body characters are $50 for a single character and $45 per character for multiple characters.  The more you order, the more you save!  Characters do not have to be in the same image to qualify for the discount.

Process:  Contact me at snailsvenuedrew@gmail.com with reference photos of the people or characters you would like me to draw, as well as any relevant details.  After I send you the initial sketch, payment is due via Paypal.  If edits are needed, I will make them and them move onto inking and coloring the finished image.  I will send you a high-resolution JPEG (or file format of your choice) and PDF as the final delivery.  I do not send printed copies at this time.

Content:  Your commission can be a person you know, it can be you, it can be your pet or someone else’s pet, it can be a character from a show or comic or cartoon or whatever that you like, or a character you created.  I will draw just about anything, including NSFW things, though in the case of NSFW content, I will require half of the money up front, before I start sketching.  NSFW, in this case, refers specifically to nudity.  I have the right to refuse any commission, but I’m very flexible.

Backgrounds:  All commissions come with a free, solid-color background.  However, a more locational background - like a beach or a forest or whatever you would like - costs extra.  I typically charge $50 extra for locational backgrounds, but that price could vary depending on what you want.  Just let me know!

Size:  Size doesn’t typically affect the price of an image, unless the image is really, really big.  I ordinarily work at 11x17, 300 DPI or 600 DPI (depending on the project, really).  I’m happy to work at whatever size you want me to, and I will let you know if that affects the price at all (though really, it probably won’t).

To get the ball rolling - or if you simply have any questions - please email me at snailsvenuedrew@gmail.com (and please please PLEASE do not send me a tumblr ask/fan mail, they are terrible for doing business).

I look forward to hearing from you!
~Drew

NOTE:This time, I’m only doing cartoon-style commissions.  Although painted-style commissions tend to make me more money, they also take considerably longer to do, and as I’m focusing on making my comic and strengthening my portfolio right now, I need to manage my time realistically.  If you’re interested in that painted-style flair, all backgrounds (should you order one) come standard in that style.  It compliments the cartoon characters so nicely!

COMMISSIONS CLOSING SOON!

I was hoping to close commissions on February 14th, but I was very busy this past weekend and never managed to post an official closing announcement.  So I’m going to leave commissions open for today for anyone that wants to get in last-minute.  You can find commission details here.

I will not be accepting new commissions for some time after today.  I will work on finishing up current commissions and then working on “Lotus for Help” for a little bit relatively uninterrupted.  I will open back up for commissions in time - sooner rather than later if this turns out to be less sustainable than I thought it would be.

So yeah.  Get in on it today if you’re interested.  Again, you can find the information on pricing and options right here.

Hey folks!

This was another one of my favorite commissions from the holiday season.  I’m not the biggest Star Trek fan (no hate, just not well-versed in it), but this was just all around fun to work on.

I am probably full-up for Valentine’s Day commissions, but I may be able to squeeze you in if it’s something simple.  And of course, I’m available to work on commissions that are not Valentine’s Day-related, as well.  Check out my prices and options here.

Thanks!
