Hey folks!
My guy is having a crummy week so I thought I’d take a break from commissions to throw something together for him to cheer him up. :)
It’s Chie from Persona 4 (though I know her better from P4 Arena, since I’m not much into RPGs but I love fighting games).
Enjoy!

Hey folks!
Mario’s journey would be so much easier if he had more choices like a certain blue robot we all know and love. Show everyone how much you like choices with this awesome, retro-love-letter tee!
GO HERE TO PURCHASE THE SHIRT from my redbubble account! (Shirt colors tend to look muddier on the site than in person, so fear not!)

Hey folks!
I did this as a gift for a very special guy in my life! I combined two things he loves: Roll, and Kiki’s Delivery Service. This image was based on this specific screen from the movie. He liked the results very much. :)
Although this wasn’t a commission, you can still contact me for commission details by sending my an email at snailsvenuedrew@gmail.com so we can get the ball rolling!
Thanks,
~Drew
Hey folks!
This was a commission I did a little over a week ago for a friend who commissioned it for his wife (for their anniversary, I believe)! It’s one of my favorites…it was just so much fun to make!
Interested in a commission? Email me at snailsvenuedrew@gmail.com so we can get the ball rolling!
Hope you like it, too!

Hey folks!
Exciting news! You can buy a PDF of my new 9-page minicomic, “ElDiablo05,” for only $3 on GumRoad. Click here to check it out!
I still intend to sell physical copies on my Etsy store this week, I just haven’t managed to take photos and stuff yet (been really busy). But hey, if you wanna save some money and you’re okay with only having the digital copy, you can get it now!
Enjoy,
~Drew
Hey folks!
I have plenty of my minicomic, “ElDiablo05,” left over from the convention this weekend and will be putting physical copies on my Etsy store sometime this week.
However, I’m also offering digital copies (in PDF form) for purchase, at only $5. You’ll save money on shipping and all that time you’d be sitting by your door dying for it to arrive!
Send me an email at Snailsvenuedrew@gmail.com so I can give you my Paypal address. Once payment is received, I’ll send you the digital copy.
Thanks!

Hey folks!
I did this Sonic the Hedgehog painting in preparation for Momocon here in Atlanta, March 8-10. I’m hoping to do a few more fan art prints if I have the time!
I’m actually really happy with this one. I hate to toot my own horn but…I’m just very pleased with it. I’ve never been the biggest Sonic fan but once I managed to figure out how to make him work in my style, he was so much fun to draw.
Prints of this will be available at the convention and later on my Etsy store. Stay tuned!

drawedgoods:
We’re all drawing Mario characters. So I drew a sexy Shy Guy.

I drew this stupid thing. Enjoy!
Hey folks!
This is the first time I’ve ever drawn Sonic the Hedgehog, I think. It’s not very good…but then, I have a rocky relationship with that game series, especially as a long-time Nintendo guy. I’d like to try again, something more dynamic and with different proportions, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to share.
Mostly just trying to draw examples of a new type of commission I’ll be offering. Hope to get details out tomorrow, but we’ll see.
Enjoy!

I remember the night of November 18th, 2006 very well. My father was out of town for business so my step mother was kind enough to take me to the Gamestop where I had preordered my Wii. I remember the cold air had me shivering. My stepmom looked to me in the passenger’s seat and said “wow, it’s not that big of a deal.” To which I replied, “It’s cold!” I was a little too embarrassed to admit that part of my shivering was caused by the sheer excitement rising in me. I was about to get a Wii!
The next 6 years would prove to be a roller coaster for Nintendo from many points-of-view. And although it may be a struggling system now, the Wii’s phenomenal hold on the market and influence on gaming as a whole cannot be denied. It’s hard to believe that almost exactly 6 years later, today, a new generation of gaming starts with the Wii U. But I think it’s important to look back and really appreciate what the Wii gave us. I had so many fantastic experiences with the little white box and while I’m ready for change, and although I’m keeping my Wii (for many reasons, but especially because it plays Gamecube games), I can’t help but feel a tiny bit nostalgic for all of the great times I had with it.
That night, when we got home, I popped in Wii Sports first instead of the much-anticipated Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which I had waited literally years for. The rest is history!
Long Live, Wii! Thanks for all of the wiggles, waggles, and memories.
